What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can often be arranged based on availability — ask at the time of booking or call the front desk the morning of your arrival.
Is parking included?
Self-parking is complimentary for overnight guests. Valet parking is available at the main entrance for a nightly fee, and day visitors to the gaming floor or dining rooms receive validated self-parking.
Do I need to be 21 to visit the resort?
No. Royal Crown is a full family resort — the pool terrace, dining rooms, spa, and guest rooms welcome guests of all ages. Only the casino gaming floor itself is restricted to guests 21 and older, as required under Mississippi gaming law.
Is the pool open year-round?
The riverside pool terrace and cabana deck are heated and open seasonally, typically April through October. An indoor pool and hot tub in the spa wing are available to hotel guests year-round.
Do you offer resort packages that combine rooms with other amenities?
Yes. We publish a rotating set of packages that bundle a room with spa credit, a chophouse dinner, or a gaming floor match-play offer. Current packages are listed on our packages page.
Are pets allowed?
We're able to accommodate pets in a limited number of designated rooms for an additional cleaning fee. Please call the reservations desk in advance, since pet-friendly rooms are limited and book quickly.
Is the resort wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Royal Crown offers accessible guest rooms, ramp and elevator access throughout the property, accessible parking near the main entrance, and pool lift access on the pool terrace.
Do you require a reservation for the dining rooms?
Cotton Row Chophouse recommends reservations, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. Delta Smoke & Barrel, the Levee Café, and the Wheelhouse Lounge accept walk-ins, though weekend evenings can still involve a short wait.
Can you host weddings or large group events?
Yes. Our event team handles everything from a 20-person rehearsal dinner in a private dining room to a 260-guest ballroom wedding. See our event venues page for capacities and details.
How far is the resort from Memphis?
Royal Crown is roughly a 35-minute drive from Memphis International Airport, and about an hour from downtown Memphis along Highway 61.
