How to structure two nights so you actually see the whole resort without overplanning your trip.
First-time guests tend to ask the front desk some version of the same question at check-in: "what should we actually do while we're here?" With six amenities on one property, it's easy to either try to cram in everything or default to the gaming floor and never leave it. Here's the loose itinerary we recommend for a standard two-night stay.
Friday Evening: Arrive, Settle In, Keep It Simple
Check-in is 4:00 PM. Most guests arrive with a bit of drive fatigue, so we suggest skipping the ambition on night one — unpack, grab an early dinner at the Levee Café or Delta Smoke & Barrel, and save the chophouse and the gaming floor for the following night when you're not running on highway coffee.
Saturday Morning: Pool Terrace or Spa, Not Both
This is where most first-timers overplan. The pool terrace and the spa are both worth a morning, but trying to do both before lunch usually means rushing one of them. Pick whichever fits the trip — the pool if you're traveling with kids, the spa if it's a couples trip.
Saturday Afternoon: Walk the Gaming Floor Before Dinner
The gaming floor is at its calmest in the early afternoon, which makes it a good window to walk through without the Saturday night crowd. If you're new to table games, this is also the easiest time to ask a dealer a question without holding up a full table.

Saturday Night: Dinner, Then the Wheelhouse Lounge
Save the chophouse for Saturday night, and if your trip lines up with a Friday or Saturday, check the Wheelhouse Lounge's live blues schedule before you book — it's usually the highlight guests mention afterward, and it's easy to miss if you don't know to ask.
Sunday: A Slow Checkout, Not a Rushed One
Check-out is 11:00 AM, but late check-out is often available on request if the room isn't already booked for that afternoon. A Sunday morning breakfast at the Levee Café is a better way to close out the trip than a rushed 10:45 checkout.
