Packing Guide for a Delta Casino Getaway

A practical packing list built around our pool terrace, spa, and dining rooms, by season.

Packing for a stay that spans a gaming floor, a chophouse dinner, and a pool terrace all in the same weekend takes a bit more thought than a typical hotel trip. Here's what our front desk actually recommends, based on what guests tend to wish they'd brought.

For the Gaming Floor & Chophouse

Cotton Row Chophouse leans toward smart-casual — collared shirts and dressier tops are common, though nothing here requires a jacket. The gaming floor itself has no formal dress code, but most guests dress a notch up from daytime pool wear once evening hits.

For the Pool Terrace

Bring more sunscreen than you think you need — the Delta sun is stronger than most guests expect, especially from late spring through summer. A cover-up or light layer is useful for the walk between the pool and your room, since the terrace sits a short walk from the main building.

For the Spa

Nothing special required — the spa provides robes and slippers for treatment appointments. If you've booked the couples steam lounge, a swimsuit is worth packing for that portion of the visit.

Pack layers regardless of season — the gaming floor and dining rooms run cooler than the outdoor pool deck, and the temperature swing catches first-time guests off guard.

Seasonal Notes

Spring and fall trips benefit from a light jacket for evenings on the pool deck or a walk to the Wheelhouse Lounge. Summer trips should lean hard into breathable fabrics given the Delta humidity. Winter guests won't need pool gear at all, since the outdoor terrace is closed for the season, but should still pack for a genuinely cold snap along the river.

What You Don't Need to Bring

Beach towels for the pool, an iron, and a hair dryer are all provided in-room, so there's no need to pack around those basics.
